Travel Consultants play a highly responsible role in delivering a range of often complex travel arrangements, accommodation bookings and ancillary services to help to ensure customers have a friendly and helpful booking experience as well as a great holiday.
**Typical Duties**
On a typical day, you might be...
- Creating, updating and developing window offers
- Working with the Social Media Team to develop new offers for social media platforms
- Issuing customer documentation for travel
- Keeping the retail and office space well presented
- Collecting and receiving payments
- Taking detailed holiday briefs and matching products to customer needs
- Making recommendations to customers
- Taking bookings and loading onto internal systems
- Researching holiday destinations and keeping up to date with developments in the travel industry
- Ensuring all security procedures are followed
**Entry Requirements**
You will usually need 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent including English, Maths and ICT.
If you haven’t already achieved GCSEs (or equivalent), you will also be expected to achieve Level 2 Functional Skills English and Maths
