Norwich, United Kingdom TP Fire & Security Full time

TP Fire & Security, a BAFE accredited industry leading provider of Fire Protection and Security systems who have been established for over 30 years, are looking for an Accounts Assistant to work at the Head Office, East Harling.

The role is a crucial one in a small finance team where, although individuals have specific responsibility, there is an expectation that each member of the team will be able to provide support to others during busy periods or holidays. The specific responsibilities of the role include:

- Pricing remedial works and call-outs ensuring that all supporting documentation has been completed.
- Raising invoices for the above.
- Processing cheques received from customers.
- Providing cover for other members of the accounts team including cash posting and accounts receivable.

Attention to detail is a key aspect of the role where concentration and retention of information is of most importance. You will need to be able to work on an individual level as well as forming part of a team to be able to succeed in the role.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION: -**
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience in accounts is required
- A high degree of flexibility when faced with new challenges
- Good negotiation, influencing, good planning and organisation skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Good numerical, written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Experience of Fire/Security operations preferred but not essential.
- ‘Can do’ attitude and a team player.
- Right to work in the UK.

A basic DBS and Security checks in line with BS7858 will be required for this role and some travel will be involved so a driving licence will be required.
