**Place of Work**: York University Student Union (YUSU)

**Hours of Work**: 8-12 hours per week.

**Salary**: £10.90 per hour

**Contract**: Fixed term until June 2023

Here at YUSU (York University Students Union) we have an exciting job opportunity for someone to join our Communities team as the College Committee Support Assistant.

**About the Role**:
YUSU is looking for an ambitious and motivated student to work with the Community department to support the University's College Committees and their activities.

You will work with the elected college committees to support them in their event planning, administering of their finances, and providing administrative support during meetings between YUSU and the Colleges, where appropriate. You will also work closely with the Community Manager and the College Committees on a fixed term project to review the training, resources and guidance YUSU provides JCRCs and CSAs, making recommendations for changes and areas for development.

You'll be a confident communicator, able to manage your time effective, and flourish working as part of a team. By joining our team at YUSU you'll be supported all the way by colleagues who share the same vision as you - to make sure students get the most out of their time at York.
