This highly visible and pivotal role within the organisation will sit within the Senior Leadership Team, and will take on:

- Strategic Sourcing Plan Development - you will be responsible for engaging the key category stakeholders and facilitating the development of a global sourcing strategy
- Procurement - you will identify, select, and contact suppliers.
- Coordinating and leveraging global procurement finished goods spend.
- Supplier Relationship Management and Performance review
- Continuous Improvement - you will identify and drive the execution of continuous improvement initiatives that will generate value through increase supplier performance or capabilities.
- Responsibilities include sourcing of miscellaneous finished goods and external manufacturing categories/services

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- Ability to define a strategy and translate it into actionable plans and then manage these plans through to implementation.
- Proactively identify key issues and delivers efficient responses to sourcing and productivity issues.
- Define, oversee, and execute business analyses for dealing with complex issues relating to both business process improvement and sourcing opportunities.
- Guide and develop reasoned solutions, recommendations, and means for measuring on going performance.
- Understand complex commodities sourcing strategies and manufacturing processes.
- Strategic thinking, problem solving and facilitation & influencing skills.
- Understands the market dynamics and cost drivers in the supply markets/manufacturing environment in their area of responsibility and can articulate an effective sourcing strategy.
- Able to analyse pricing proposals and utilise an analytical and fact-based approach to drive negotiations and value generation.
- Highly developed analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
- A sound understanding of financial and cost accounting principles, resource planning and allocation.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a global environment, working across borders, cultures, and languages.

This is not a hybrid position, you will be required on-site when not travelling for business meetings
