We are on the lookout for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team in a small but busy professional accountancy practice based in Elgin.

This role is permanent, initially part time at 3 days a week, however there is scope for it to become full time in the future.

This position is based permanently in our office in Elgin and at this time we are unable to offer working from home.

Duties will include:

- Data entry for preparation of client VAT returns and Accounts
- Payroll processing
- Liaising with clients
- Liasing with other professionals, HMRC and other authorities
- Document copying, scanning, and filing
- Any other duties as assigned

Schedule:

- Part Time - 3 days per week : 9am to 5pm

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Word and Excel (essential)
- 1 Year of experience working within an office environment (essential)
- Basic Bookkeeping knowledge (preferred)
- Experience with payroll software (advantageous)
- Experience within a Professional Accountants office (advantageous)
