We are currently recruiting for an apprentice to join the team on a full time permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to kick-start a career as an Apprentice practitioner and to complete a Childcare and education qualification.

You would need to be motivated, enthusiastic and have a positive attitude, as well as caring, friendly and have a 'can do ' approach.

You do not need a Childcare qualification for the Apprentice role, but rather the passion and drive to work in a Children's nursery and to have a career in childcare.

**Skills required**:

- You must have good communication skills and be able to work well within a team.
- You will need skill to adapt into the different areas in the nursery.
- You must be able to use your own initiative.
- A good standard of written work is required.
- Have Math's and English GSCE or equivalent
- Ideally some experience in nursery or childcare environment

**Duties and responsibilities include**:

- Feeding suitable meals, snacks and drink
- Changing nappies or helping with potty/toilet training
- Teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
- encouraging children’s development
- keeping records
