Accountant - Greenside Manufacturing

**About The Role**
**Here at Morrisons we are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing accountant for one of our biggest sites.You will support the production of weekly and periodic management reporting for our Bradford - Greenside site.**
**At our 400,000 square foot site, our 1,500-strong team produces 277 fresh food products. Operating 24/7, they run 44 production lines and manage six different operations all under one roof in our state-of-the-art building. Every day 72 vehicles leavepacked full of our freshly prepared products.**
**You'll be responsible for**:
- Preparing and posting accruals, prepayments and adjustment journals.
- Conducting analysis and processing activities in line with role requirements.
- Managing the weekly performance reporting process for Manufacturing sites, working closely with site finance teams.
- Preparing period end management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations, in line with role requirements.
- Analyse and understand variances between weekly and periodic financial reporting with a view to minimising any differences.
- Generate and help to implement ideas for improvement in line with the task specific areas of your role.
- Working directly with stakeholders at the Manufacturing site. Develop an excellent relationship with them, ensuring that they feel comfortable approaching you with reporting queries.
- Prepare financial reporting on a weekly and periodic basis which is targeted to stakeholders, ensuring that initiative is used to adapt as required so the stakeholder has the best information to make decisions.
- Suggest continuous improvement ideas to ensure stakeholders requirements are fully met.
- Identify financial risks & opportunities for Manufacturing sites so managers can respond in a timely manner.Colleague
- Participate in projects based on providing expertise and support for improving business processes and procedures.
- Provide and communicate financial information as required.
- Liaise with stakeholders across centralised Manufacturing sites to understand requirements and identify opportunities to speed up and simplify.
**About You**
- You’ll be a fully qualified Accountant through either CIMA, ACA or ACCA or Qualified by experience.
- You'll have experience working as an Accountant in a large and complex organisation.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the business.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload to meet agreed deadlines.
- Manufacturing experience
**About the team**

We support change programmes and capital expenditure projects. We provide business leaders with vital management information and analysis. As well as looking after our cash, accounts and working capital, we also control costs, produce forecasts, deliver insightand manage supplier reporting and supplier payments. There's never a dull moment in our Finance team.
