We are seeking to recruit a Procurement Assistant to join to join our head office team in Guildford.

Established in 2010, Future Biogas has grown rapidly and is now at the forefront of the anaerobic digestion industry. We are a highly regarded developer and operator of 11 AD plants across the UK, providing full asset management service capabilities of development, construction, operations, maintenance, finance and compliance. The company employs over 100 people with a head office in Guildford. Our plants convert a wide range of feedstocks into renewable energy through a process of anaerobic digestion which produces biogas. Biogas can either be used to generate green electricity or upgraded into biomethane and injected into the UK’s national gas network.

The role is responsible for providing Procurement support to Procurement Champions and FBL departments. Provide the best quality equipment, goods, and services at the most competitive prices and to enable the company to operate in the most efficient manner.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Raise Purchase Order’s and receipt in deliveries
- Manage specific commodities as needed
- Conduct RFx’s to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality
- Provide reporting as and when required
- Source and onboard new suppliers
- Help with support to Procurement ‘Champions’ and other employee’s
- Support with expediting/progress chasing orders

**Qualifications and skills**:

- 1-2 years suitable experience, with ideally a minimum of CIPS level 4 qualification or currently working towards the qualification.
- IT literate with a good understanding of Excel.
- Able to cope with multiple challenges simultaneously as the company develops.
- Pro-active, initiative, strong ability to prioritise with excellent time management skills
- Ability to process and analyse data quickly and effectively
- Self-motivated with the tact, diplomacy and tenacity required to motivate others toward the same goals.
