The ‘A’ Licensed Mechanic will perform defect rectification and routine servicing as directed by the Duty Engineer or Certifying Licensed Aircraft Engineer in accordance with your authorisation scope and approved maintenance documentation. Able to demonstrate applicable technical knowledge of aircraft with hand skills required to carry out tasks assigned. easyJet maintain the highest safety standards possible and as part of your role you will ensure that the maintenance activity performed supports both regulatory standards and easyJet’s industry leading safety and technical standards.

**What you need to do the role**

Hold UK Part 66 A license and authorisation or equivalent on company aircraft. You must be able to demonstrate an up-to-date knowledge of applicable airworthiness legislation. Ideally hold a time served apprenticeship and operational experience in a line maintenance environment. You will need a high degree of customer focus - both internal and external. The ability to work effectively in a team in all levels of the organisation. Willingness to be flexible to meet deadlines and overcome operational problems. Demonstrate a working knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation &demonstrate technical knowledge of aircraft and hand skills required to carry out tasks. Lastly, you would have the ability to use aircraft maintenance documentation and computer based reporting and recording systems

This full-time role will be based in Gatwick working NNNN 10.75 hour shifts. Shift pattern will 4x4 with occasional travel requirements to easyJet’s headquarters or network locations.
