**Salary**: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (DOE)
Location: Leeds
Contract: Full Time - Permanent
Verus Recruitment Partners are pleased to be supporting an accountancy practice in the recruitment of an experienced Accounts Senior to join an expanding well-established accountancy firm, based in their Leeds office.
Great opportunity for someone looking to progress and develop within their career while working alongside highly experienced accountants.
Your Responsibilities:

- Preparation of company financial statements, quarterly VAT returns, interim management accounts, personal tax returns, partnership accounts, and returns
- Forecasts and business projections
- Able to manage own portfolio of clients
- Train junior members of staff and allocate duties
- Attend client meetings and interact with directors and business owners
- Any other general accountancy/administrative work as required
About you:

Someone with the following skills and experience:

- At least 4 year's experience in an accountancy practice enviroment
- Excellent telephone manner

- IRIS
- Strong record keeping
- Xero
- QuickBooks
- Must be at least studying towards or have studied one of the following AAT/ACA/ACCA.
