Are you passionate about supporting people with a Visual Impairment to live as independently as possible? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Support Worker to provide a range of services to our visually impaired client and their family.
Job description
**As part of the Relief Support Worker, you will**:
- Providing support with university work
- Providing activities support with children
- Providing domestic support such as shopping
- Supporting with other daily tasks
**To be successful in the role you will have**:
- Excellent customer service skills; Friendly and approachable
- Possess a valid driving licence (required)
- Knowledge of issues surrounding sensory loss (Deaf, Hard of hearing and Blind)
- Willingness to learn about issues affecting people with sensory impairment
- Excellent team working skills
