**Main Responsibilities for an Associate Director**:

- Responsible for managing the service delivery for the UK Real Assets business along with the Associate Director.
- Lead a team of Financial Reporting Managers, administrators and accountants.
- Manage the accounting of the more complex requirements of clients’ affairs within a team including the accounting of fund structures and property companies.
- Quality / high-level review following the managers’ review of fund accounts, holding company accounts and property company accounts ensuring that all outputs are completed to a high standard.
- Assist the managers with the review of all aspects of accounting matters for a team incorporating investor reports, management accounts, statutory financial statements and ad-hoc investor queries.
- Quality / high-level review of UK VAT returns and CIS reporting to HMRC previously reviewed by the managers.
- Work closely with the managers to manage the audit process for all clients within the team, building strong relationships with audit firms.
- Act as a mentor to Financial Reporting Managers and supervise and assist in the training and development of staff.
- Act as highest authority on day-to-day queries and as "A" level 4-eyes signatory on administration matters.
- Review WIP incurred and utilise across teams to ensure that extra billing opportunities are identified, and appropriate action is taken.
- Participate in new client proposals / pitches as necessary, and manage the integration of new clients into the Group’s procedures.

**Skills, Knowledge & Expertise for an Associate Director**:

- Considerable fund and / or property accounting experience supported by a relevant professional qualification (ACCA or ACA).
- Sound technical financial services knowledge.
- Ideally a good understanding of real estate, infrastructure and private debt asset classes.
- Computer literacy, word processing and spread sheet skills are essential. Experience with Yardi and / or e-Front is an added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts.
- Strong people management experience and experience in leading teams.
- Evidence of managing a major client relationship.
