**Responsibilities of the Project Co-ordinator will include the following**:
Providing central project co-ordination and ensuring project goals are met for "Small Projects"

Facilitating communication within project team, with the customer & with other internal departments

Conducting regular project updates with key personnel

Providing regular and relevant project updates to management

Gain sufficient understanding of the project: customer requirements, project owner's expectations/instructions, manufacturing requirements etc.

**Budget management**:monitor & work to assigned project budgets (time & cost)

**Task management**:knowing current task progress, tracking open tasks to completion, and actively driving timely task completion

**Planning**:facilitating the scheduling of tasks and resources

**Materials management**:ensuring the right items are in the right place at the right time

**Documentation management**:ensuring the project file maintained & the controlled issue of drawings etc.

**Manage change**:reviewing & re-prioritising tasks & resource reassignment (when necessary)

Ensure the Project Management System is used correctly and kept up to date.

Track hour/cost consumption (ensure correct access for project team timesheet booking)

**The Project Co-ordinator should have the following skills or experience**:
Project Management experience preferable but not essential

Project co-ordination or equivalent experience (ideally industry relevant) is beneficial, however, organisation skills such as, prioritisation, strategic thinking, and planning are transferrable and will be considered

**Key Attributes**:
Good people management skills

Good communicator (written and spoken)

Ability to plan and organise resources

Able to anticipate and solve problems

Keen change agent

Able to contribute to and support continuous improvement initiatives

Good attention to detail

Ability to be proactive and independent (and to be interdependent on the project team)
