**The role**
The role will have you exposed to various aspects of the organisation, meeting with talented industry-leading experts across the business.
The role of the Senior Developer will be including assisting in developing web-based tools that are used by the business to deliver major projects globally but growing into a position of leadership by mentoring junior team members, taking ownership of majorproducts that interface with product owners etc.
**Day to day responsibilities**
From day one you will be expected to start selecting tasks from the sprint backlogs as you begin to integrate yourself into the team and habituate yourself with the company 'house style'.
- Submit into their continuous development system
- Present code for peer review
- Modify as appropriate

**As the role develops (some of the expectations)**
- Mentoring of Junior Developers
- Product Ownership
- Validating requirements
- Sprint planning
- QA of code
- External testing completed to satisfaction
- Scheduling of production released etc
- Plan migration of products to Azure Cloud

**Skills and technical experience**
- C# asp.net MVC
- JavaScript with jQuery
- SQL Server stored procedure development
- Good understanding of the need for coding standards, peer-reviews, independent testing, CI/CD and experience of putting them into practice
- Good communication skills for remote working

**Security Clearance
This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview.**
