As a Barclays Securitised Products (SP), Financing Trader (Commercial Real Estate (CRE)), you will join the Global Markets team. This desk provides long-term lending to a range of financial institutions on a variable/fixed term or revolving basis across a wide range of assets including ABS, RMBS, CMBS, CLO, consumer, and whole loans. You will be responsible for underwriting, structuring, and executing commercial real estate lending opportunities. This is an opportunity to play an active role in generating and managing the desk risk and PnL.

**What will you be doing?**
- Managing deals end-to-end from origination to closing including underwriting and cash flow modelling, legal documentation review, due diligence and funding
- Being accountable for generating and managing the desk risk and PnL for the CRE pod, hedging the book in a controlled but commercial manner
- Being responsible for Pricing, marking, execution, risk management of transactions, managing life cycle events as required. and developing senior relationships with clients
- Providing detailed analysis of deals - generating and producing cash flow analysis and stress scenarios, to ensure financing solutions and risks are sound
- Working with Risk, Finance, Regulatory Policy, Operations, and other teams to ensure the desk runs correctly, and RWA/LBS impacts are fully understood
- Preparing/contributing to any deal memos and obtain credit risk and securitised products capital commitment committee approval
- Summarizing and communicating effectively to peer and management on current risk status, on-going investigations, risk estimates for pipeline transactions
- Working with Research and the broader Securitised Products team to provide or obtain colour on desk activity, clients and markets
**What we’re looking for**:
- Bachelor’s Degree/ Master’s Degree in economics, mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science or data science (or equivalent)
- Significant experience in securitised products financing / portfolio management / trading / structuring in an Investment Banking environment or other large financial institutions
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Team-oriented and goal driven attitude
**Skills that will help you in the role**:
- A good grasp of Securitised Products and structuring fundamentals, as well as a general understanding of Securitised Products flow business
- Excellent communication/ presentation skills
- Precise attention to detail
- Solid analytical, quantitative, and programming skills
**Where will you be working?**
