Facilities Co-ordinator

18.75 hours will be spread across 3 or 4 days week on a rota basis, and most shifts are mornings. Some weekend and Bank Holiday working will be required.

You will play a crucial part in ensuring our visitors have a day to remember by keeping the facilities clean to a high standard as well as supporting the team in other areas as needed. You will be contributing to the lasting legacy of preserving our buildings for future generations to enjoy.

The Facilities Team in South Lakes operate between numerous properties on different sites which are only accessible via the road network. A Pool Van is supplied for this reason. Because Coniston is in a rural area, a full valid UK driving license is essential.

What you'll be doing:As the Facilities Co-ordinator, you’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of an efficient, effective and flexible facilities service, to enable the successful operation of the property. You’ll support the team to meet its objectives by ensuring high standards are delivered and maintained at all times. You’ll be assisting with cleaning and caretaking duties, cleaning stock and inventory management, maintaining hygiene supplies and replenishment at National Trust locations, liaising with suppliers, and adhering to COSHH and health & safety guidelines.
