We are actively recruiting in Swaffham and surrounding areas for experienced Support Workers to assist our client with some regular weekly shifts.
You would be playing a pivotal role in providing excellent support and care for clients including; personal care, assisting with medications, daily activities and encourage residents to lead a more fulfilled life. At least 6 months' recent experience working with people with learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities is **essential **due to the nature of the work.
Shift patterns at this service include earlies, lates and long days.
**Our daily tasks could include**
- Helping people to undertake personal tasks.
- Serving food and helping them to eat if needed.
- Changing sheets and making beds.
- Using equipment to lift and move the people you support.
- Notifying healthcare professionals of temperatures, pulse rates, or respiration rates seem abnormal or worrying
- Promoting positive outlooks and encouraging people to enjoy their lives as much as possible.
- Bonding with the people you support, learning about their needs and using your skills to assist our clients with delivering exceptional care and support.
**Qualifications required**
- You must have the right to work within the UK.
- You must be able to communicate effectively and have the ability to understand and be understood.
- You must have a minimum of 6 months' experience within a similar setting in the UK.
