Lincoln, United Kingdom Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Full time

There are currently lots of exciting developments happening within LPFT's services for Children and Young People (CYP) that have mental health concerns and live in Lincolnshire.

With the expansion of our Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) across Lincolnshire, we are looking to recruit a Band 7 Team Co-ordinator to manage the Spalding and Grantham MHST’s. The MHST Team Co-ordinator is responsible for the operational and clinical management of the two MHST’s within the locality. You will be a member of the multi-disciplinary team working with children, young people, families and education staff; assessing and treating the mental health and well-being of children and young people.

The post holder is responsible for ensuring the teams fulfil their core offer of services whilst maintaining clinical input within their role. The Teams will need to be supported to complete their training year and moving to become operational.

The MHSTs will have close links with our well established services: Healthy Minds Lincolnshire, other MHSTs and CAMHS.

The Mental Health Support Teams are jointly delivered by NHS and Department of Education and are sited within local schools in the Spalding and Grantham area. They aim to provide CBT informed early interventions for mild to moderate mental health and emotional well being issues, such as anxiety, and low mood. They also aim to provide training and support to staff working in the designated school or college setting and help education settings develop a whole system approach to promoting good mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health services and a number of learning disability, autism and social care services in the county of Lincolnshire. Employing around 2,800 staff, and serving a population of over 766,000, our people lie at the heart of everything we do.

You could be part of a Trust rated by staff as one of the best mental health and learning disability trusts in England, in an area heralded as a fantastic place to live and work. We firmly believe the key to high quality care is a contented workforce. This is reflected in our Care Quality Commission rating of ‘outstanding’ for well-led and ‘good’ overall. In the most recent National NHS Staff Survey, our staff rated us as the number one trust nationally for staff morale and one of the top scoring NHS Trusts in the Midlands for being compassionate and inclusive. We’re really proud of this

We are also leading the way in transforming care, with multi-million-pound transformation of patient environments and radical redesign of community services.

This is the time to join and help redesign our services of the future. We offer options for flexible working and provide a wide range of training and promotion opportunities in all professions. We support and celebrate diversity, have active staff networks groups and are always looking at what more we can do to support our staff.
- To be operationally responsible for the Mental Health Support Teams and associated Key Performance Indicators.
- To be operationally responsible for the multi-disciplinary team including line management responsibilities such as: managing performance, approving annual leave, managing attendance, completing and distributing duty rotas, annual appraisals, management supervision, training requirements.
- To be responsible for the team in meeting national and local performance targets.
- To ensure the team is working towards ‘outstanding’ in all areas of service provision in line with CQC Key Lines of Enquiry.
- To demonstrate outstanding leadership and management skills to ensure the on-going development of staff and the service.
