An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Community Therapy Team based at Welshpool Hospital, North Powys. We are looking for a full time Band 4 Assistant Therapy Practitioner to join our established, friendly and experienced team.

The post holder will work as a member of the Therapies Team under the
direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapy and/or Physiotherapy Team Leader to ensure that an efficient and effective rehabilitation service is delivered to Powys residents.
The post holder will assess, implement, treat and progress patients in
accordance with agreed protocols and treatment regime under the supervision of the qualified therapist. This will include working in a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency arena, alongside other members of the therapy and community teams. Prevent hospital admission by working to the therapy goals identified by the patient and qualified therapist.
The post holder will acknowledge their limitations and actively seek advice as necessary to deliver a client centred rehabilitation programme. Supervision and support of junior staff will be part of the role.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
