Do you want to be part of a successful and growing finance team? Here at P&O ferries we are looking for a Senior Banking Clerk to join us at our office in Dover.

As the Senior Banking Clerk, you will be responsible for reconciling various bank/credit card/control accounts and ensuring they are completed to deadline. In this role you will be organised and numerate as well as having an eye for detail as the position involves inputting and processing data to ensure accurate reporting.

**Location - Dover**

**What you will be doing**:

- Processing of sales returns and inputting the data to coda via journal
- Allocation and input to coda of bank statements
- Resolve queries working closely with other internal departments
- Reconciliation of bank accounts and credit card control accounts
- Allocation of petty cash returns (ships and ports) and input to coda

**What we need from you**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Ideally previous experience in a similar environment
- IT Literate with an excellent knowledge of Excel
- A methodical and accurate attention to detail
- Confident with working to deadlines and a person flexible in their approach
