**Your new role as an Accounting Senior**:
**Your duties will include**:
Oversee and review the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income

statements, and cash flow statements.

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial

transactions.

Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries, accruals, and

account reconciliations.

Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information, analyse

data, and provide insights to support decision-making.

Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal

controls to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial data and analysis to

guide the preparation of budgets and projections.

Lead the preparation of financial reports for management, highlighting key performance

indicators and trends.

Assist in external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support as needed.

Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, providing training, guidance, and constructive

feedback.

Stay updated on accounting regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure accurate and

up-to-date financial reporting.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline accounting

workflows.

**The Experience & Qualifications Required**:
Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant

Several years' work history ACA/ACCA part-qualified or studier

Passionate about offering a high-quality service

Friendly, and able to communicate clearly with both colleagues and clients

Great time management

Previous Personal/Private Client/Mixed experience in a similar role within a practice environment is essential

We will provide you full study support including paid study leave, mentorship and coaching

Ideally a good academic record

Ability to hit the ground running and be able to train junior members of staff

Experience of managing Client relationships

Willingness to evolve and adapt to the ever-changing world of Accountancy, and embrace new technology

Self-starter with good organisational skills
