**Position Title: Production Operator**

**Location: Tamworth**

**Hours/Day: Varying Shift Patterns (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am)**

**The Opportunity**:
As a Machine Operative Packer, you will be working in a busy clean environment where you will need to handle, package and quality inspect parts produced on an Injection moulding machine which could range from a Dulux Paint Can, Swizzels Sweet Tub, Supermarket Home Delivery Tray, Bread Baskets, School Chairs to a Plastic Drain Cover. You will need handling skills, good eyesight and attention to detail, and the ability to follow simple instructions which may include assembly operations.

**Overview of Key Duties**:

- Operate machinery equipment in accordance with health and safety procedures
- Perform moulding handling operations in accordance with company and customers’ requirements.
- Complete orders within company deadlines
- Wear PPE as required by the company, whilst always adhering to site health and safety rules and procedures
- Escalate any quality concerns, delays or machine issues to relevant staff asap
- Under supervision, competently and safely assist with cleaning out of the machines.
- Ensure workstations are kept clean, tidy and any debris is swept up
- Maintain the highest standards of product safety, adhering to site hygiene regulations at all times.
- Assist fellow colleagues in their job duties when required
- Attend, complete and pass any training that the company deems necessary for the role
- Notify management about any equipment and production issues
- To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by Management
- Ensure that products are packed to customer requirements
- Be an integral part of achieving the business KPIs
- Embrace continuous improvement culture
