We are recruiting for a Student Wellbeing Outreach Advisor in our Student Wellbeing Team within Student and Education Services. You will be part of a team of staff who support the wellbeing of students across a 24/7 timeframe. Your role will be a day role, on a 3 on 3 off rota, working 12 hour shifts from 6pm to 6am. You would be expected to work across our main Student Hub on our Highfield campus, as well as Halls of Residences.

The Student Wellbeing Outreach Advisor role is an integral role in a hardworking, compassionate, and committed team to provide support and guidance to students who are experiencing poor wellbeing, mental health or distress.

It is vital that you can maintain accurate professional records, using appropriate levels of confidentiality and responding appropriately to any safeguarding concerns that may arise.

The role involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and agencies including the student discipline team, personal academic tutors, the NHS, and the police to enable the Wellbeing team to provide effective support to those impacted.
