We have an exciting opportunity available for someone to join this new and exciting role where you will be coordinating and helping in setting the running of this service under the guidance of the MS nurses and pharmacist.

We are looking for a Full time Coordinator to join our team.

The right applicant will be friendly, have good communication skills, be organised and the ability to work within the team.

We require applicant to be flexible, reliable and hardworking, be able to use their own initiative when working under pressure.

**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
This role is within the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Team as Disease Modifying Therapy Coordinator. The role will evolve over time and the following job description is not exhaustive.

MS is a dynamic field to work in with new developments occurring. There are disease modifying drugs for MS. In this new and exciting role you will be coordinating and helping in setting the running of this service under the guidance of the MS nurses and pharmacist.

The role will entail;
- Managing and updating database for each DMT that is required
- Following the drug pathway
- Managing a calendar for rebooking infusions/ bloods or liaising with MS nurse of pharmacist to complete this
- Phone calls
- Liaising with regional MS nurses
- Completing standard letters for each individual drug
- Scanning documents

**Essential**:
Maths and English GCSE, A*-C/9-4
Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in an administrative environment

**Experience**:

Experience of dealing with the public/, customer service experience
Experience of working in a secretarial/administrative role with a proven track record of problem solving
Experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office packages
Able to use own initiative and deal with the unpredictable
Able to work under pressure and to multi-task
