We are seeking a bright, highly organised and motivated Operations Apprentice to join our growing, friendly and ambitious team, in Shinfield.

We are New Homes Flooring South, one of the leading flooring contractors in the country, specialising in the new build market, wholesale flooring, and retail supply and fit services across the South of England.

As a family-run business, we take immense pride in our excellent team and foster a positive and supportive working environment.

We have a client base that includes over 16 large house builders, and are currently working on 24 new build developments, we have built a strong reputation with helping people and being the go-to for solving problems and being the chosen flooring partner for a lot of people.

**About the Role**

We have created this role, as an effective way for a smart young person to progress into a great career.

As an Operations Apprentice, you will embark on a comprehensive learning journey, gaining hands-on experience across various aspects of our operations. This role is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in any part of our team, whether you aspire to lead within our Operations Management or dive into the technical and numerical aspects of our Surveying team.

It will involve surveying plots on new build sites, tender prep, P&O prep, along with any and all of the wonderful day to day changing activities that may be needed within the team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Team Assistance**: Helping with our whole team, which is made up of great individuals.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with Surveyors, Site Managers, and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
- **Surveying**: Learn to survey plots, carry out Site Visits, Tender prep for the surveyors, P&O prep, and then begin to learn quantifying and costings for progression.
- **Communication**: Liaise with the whole Operations team, Warehouse team, and Installation teams to ensure effective communication.
- **Administrative Support**: Perform various office duties, maintain records, and assist with general administrative tasks as needed.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT literacy.
- Strong communication skills.
- Keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good arithmetic skills.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Punctual and reliable.

**Requirements**:

- Full UK Driving Licence.
- A-Level or equivalent education (preferred but not essential).

Pay: £15,000.00-£18,000.00 per year
