We are the current contract holders of the managed services contracts for the **National Assembly for Wales, **the **Vision, Sound and AV Operation and Maintenance of UK Parliament**, the **Broadcasting and AV Services for the Greater London Authority **and the** UK Supreme Court **in addition to a number of prestigious **corporate** bodies and **Government Departments.**

**Overview of the role**:
This is a key technical role operating the broadcast equipment used to deliver meeting procedural coverage as well as the Audio Visual equipment and service in our contract sites in central London. These include the UK Parliament, UK Supreme Court and the GLA, as well as our other locations as required.

Working in a number of small multiskilled teams, the main duties are, rigging/set up/testing equipment, operation and first-line maintenance of a range of Broadcast & Audio Visual technical equipment. The work includes remote control camera operation. Setting up and onboarding remote contributors into video conferencing calls. Vision mixing the camera and video conferencing feeds as well as operating the microphones in formal meetings.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with rigging, de-rigging broadcast vision and audio equipment, for example cameras and microphones.
- Operating remote controlled and manned broadcast cameras, sound/microphone switching and audio recording equipment, recording devices and other broadcast equipment during formal meeting coverage.
- Basic operational patching and equipment room set up.
- Vision mixing and colour correcting content production as well as adjusting levels in the cameras (racking cameras).
- Operation of Video Conferencing meeting software - setting up meetings, onboarding contributors and successfully managing multiple attendants on calls.

**Skills and Attributes required**:

- Experience of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook packages.
- An aptitude for technology and software packages.
- An interest in news, current affairs and politics - a basic understanding of political issues is highly desirable for this role.
- A desire to learn new systems and commitment to deliver a first class service to our client’s and colleagues.
- A mature and diplomatic approach to our clients.
