**About the role**:
Due to substantial growth within Demand Planning we are recruiting for a Demand Planner to join our friendly team based over the UK, Ireland and Europe.

Demand Planners play an essential role in the Supply Chain of Kerry, reporting into the S&OP Senior Manager you will analyze commercial forecasting from customers to balance statistic and previous years sales vs what we predict in the future.

Demand Planning in Kerry is a growing industry, and you will play a key role in a structured landscape that is building from acquired business Kerry is bringing in and you will get to help the business role out a best-in-class process across the regions.

**What will I be doing?**:

- You will create a consensus forecast to be used as part of the Kerry S&OP process.
- You will manage the monthly cadence for the Demand Planning process
- You will generate and share reports required to provide insights and drive the demand planning process in Kerry
- You will champion demand planning ways of working communicating with customers and sales teams, to drive improvements to the process
- You will communicate with relevant stakeholders to ensure outputs of demand plan are taken into consideration
- You will support the enablement of development projects through to launch, and identify product delists, to minimise material risk and service failures
- You will provide support and suggest solutions where business targets are not being realised
- You will attend and contribute to Supply Chain meetings as required
- You will train Supply Chain teams on Demand Planning best practices, use of forecasting accuracy and error measures to improve forecasting effectiveness

**What do I need to be successful?**:
In Kerry we understand that people have very different career trajectories and experiences. In order to be successful in this role we would be looking for the right competencies and aptitudes as well as your proven track record of success in a Supply Chain or Demand Planning role.

**These include**:

- Experience, ideally in a forecasting or sales and operations planning (S&OP) environment.
- Experience using excel to manipulate and analyse data. Experience of SAP APO, and Power BI is an advantage.
- Flexible approach - excellent leadership skills together with strong team ethic.
- Strong data analysis skills and effective communication to get actions plans in place.
- Ability to work in a complex environment and deal with ambiguity.
- Strong negotiation skills with an ability to build rapport and influence across all levels in the organisation.
- Excellent self-management practices with a pro-active, energetic, and committed approach.
- Excellent presentation and report drafting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple streams of information optimally with attention to detail
