An outstanding Specialist School in Oxford is looking for a Child Mental Health Worker to support their students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs in the classroom. The pupils range from 5 to 18 years of age and all have a range of difficulties,including anxiety, bereavement, trauma, mental health challenges and behavioural difficulties. The children therefore require a Child Mental Health Worker who can identify and cater to their needs, and provide them with the support they so desperately need.

You will be instrumental in providing consistency and equipping the children and young people with the tools to ensure they feel safe, secure, empowered and believe that they will succeed in life. This is ideal for Psychology, Sociology, Counselling or Criminologygraduates as this role will give you excellent practical experience working with SEN students in a relevant field before you take your next step.
