**Operations Director - Social Housing Repairs & Maintenance

Howells Solutions are working with a leading construction and regeneration business to recruit an Operations Director in London. Working in partnership with public sector clients, the Operations Director will assume overall responsibility for the successfuldelivering a portfolio of contracts including reactive maintenance and voids.

We are looking for a Senior Manager or Director with experience of running a division to the value of £30m - £40m. You will be working for a main contractor within social housing, and be responsible for running multiple, large, directly employed workforcesof multi-disciplined staff and supply chain on both a strategic and operational basis, with a proven track record in stakeholder management, developing collaborative relationships and achieving strategic growth.

**Operations Director Essential Experience**:

- Experienced Senior Manager or Director with a proven track record delivering growth of large multi-million contracts within a service delivery environment for a public sector client
- Recognised construction industry qualification / membership and training
- Experience of change management particularly in relation to cultural change and process re-engineering
- Experience of working at a strategic level, developing and implementing continuous improvement
- Experience of managing mobile and / or TUPE transferred workforces
- Commercial acumen
- Ability to set and measure targets
- Strong IT skills
- Strong management skills and the ability to motivate a team at all levels
- Ability to be innovative and creative to resolve complex issues
- Knowledge of social housing, building maintenance market (desirable)
- Understanding of strategic and operational processes within social housing property services contracts (desirable)
