Amazon Shipping Amazon shipping offers Amazon’s delivery capabilities as a product and service. Amazon Shipping’s first customers are sellers in the EU, offering to ship their domestic volume using our delivery network. Amazon Shipping is looking to hire an experienced leader to join the Shipper Management and Operations team. You will be a natural self-starter who is able to understand customers needs and translate them into opportunities for our operations, will have a true hands-on approach, solid people management skills, and be an effective communicator. You will be part of the core team that will be coordinating the Amazon Shipping business and operations across all EU. You will also be coordinating the shipper on-boarding and operations activities to deliver a world class customer experience, and the design and implementation of new operating solutions to please our customers. You will have a true hands-on approach, operational inclination, solid leadership skills and the ability to build and leverage relationships across a wide range of stakeholders As this position involves regular interaction with senior leadership (Directors, VPs), you need to be comfortable communicating robustly at that level whilst also working directly with various functional teams and team members at all levels of the organization across the Amazon business. Responsibilities: - Coordinate the Shipper management and capabilities team for Amazon Shipping, and partner with planning, operations and business teams. - Improve key operational metrics by building new processes and partnering with the Biz, Product and Ops teams. - Build, coach and develop a team across different geos - Define onboarding and defect management processes, delivery a world class experience for our customers - Support the launch of amazon shipping in new countires and define the shipper management and operations needs - Develop granular metrics to monitor and track shipper experience for the Amazon Shipping, along with bucket reports on where opportunities for improvements are.
- Master’s Degree in: Supply Chain Management or Operations Research or experience in supply chain, manufacturing, transportation and/or distribution environments
- Experience of change management/growth environments.
- Experience coordinating and interacting with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Access, Tableau and SQL.
- Ability to travel in the EU
