We are looking for experienced, honest, reliable and professional front of house Reception Security personnel in Bury, Greater Manchester.

The reception security officer will be working on duty alone and responsible for providing a first class reception service, whilst ensuring the safety, security and health and safety of the building, staff, visitors and contractors.
- **Job Details**:_

**Salary**:£8,212.51 - £8,368.94 per year.

**Hours**:

- Part - Time, Permanent Contract
- **Monday - Friday 07:30 - 09:00**:

- **Monday - Friday 17:00 - 18:30**
- **Must be able to do both shifts above.**_ Additional hours, on this and other local developments may be available.

- **Roles and Responsibilities**:_
- **The main duties of the reception security officer is to assist the client, staff, visitors and contractors on site in maintaining a safe, secure and pleasant environment.**_
- _Creating a positive first impression for the development.
- Ensuring the building is unlocked and locked at the agreed times.
- General reception duties, including excellent record keeping.
- Communicate effectively through verbal and written records for other professionals.
- To ensure factual and accurate recording of information to handover to the on site support teams and to ensure that all recordings of information are stored securely.
- To ensure that information is gathered and collated for monitoring and outcome purposes.
- Dealing, in a professional manner with staff, visitors and contractors and contractors.
- Regular health and safety checks internally and externally.
- Dealing with enquiries from service users and providing the correct contact details within a crisis situations.
- Working in accordance with site specific procedures and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Undertake training and professional development, as necessary in order to be able to fulfil the role.
- Represent StrongGuard Security UK, the client and other support agencies to their values during the course of your duties.
- **Applicants must have / be**:_
- _A valid SIA (Door Supervision or Security) licence._
- _A valid first aid certificate._
- _Excellent customer service and communication skills, verbal, written and listening._
- _Able to communicate clearly and at all levels and with people whose first language is not English._
- _Flexible and reliable with an excellent attendance and punctuality record._
- _Smart and approachable (must be able to wear a suit and tie at all times)._
- _A team player with a positive, solution focused approach._
- _Be able to maintain professionalism (professional boundaries)._
- _Enthusiastic and must enjoy working with people._

The applicant would ideally have access to a vehicle, due to shift times.

**Start - **following satisfactory interview, background checks and DBS.

**Applicant must be able to provide a minimum of 5 years employment / unemployment / educational history (no gaps greater than 30 days). This is required for Screening and Vetting as per the current BS 7858.**
