Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, shift times vary per week over a 4 week period (see times below)

Shift times:
Week 1

Mon 0730-1700, Tues 0730-1800, Wed 0730-2130, Thurs 0730-2100, Fri 0730-1800.

Week 2

Mon 0700-1800, Tues 0700-2000, Wed 0700-1800, Thurs 0700-1800, Fri 0700-1800.

Week 3

Mon 1200-2130, Tues 1000-1800, Wed 1200-2130, Thurs 1000-1800, Fri 1000-1800.

Week 4

Mon 0730-1700, Tues 0730-1800, Wed 0730-1800, Thurs 0730-2100, Fri 0730-1800.

Rate/Salary: £10.69 per hour, increasing to £12.00 per hour (date tbc)

We have a new opportunity to join our team on a full-time basis as a security officer for an education client based in Bury. You will be working on site in a team of 5 security officers lead by an on site supervisor.

Your daily work will be to work as a team to help protect our client’s site, property and people including students, staff, and visitors, resulting in a very satisfying role with significant potential.

You will be the ambassadors for our client; one of the first people that visitors, students, and staff see on arrival, setting the tone and ensuring a safe and secure environment.

**Some of the duties will include**:

- Monitoring access of student and checking student ID cards
- Providing a security presence around campus
- Meeting and greeting visitors
- Responding to incidents between students
- Controlling access into staff parking
- Assisting with locking up the site
- Maintaining that all incidents are logged and reported
- Ensuring Health and Safety polices are adhered to

**Security officer requirements**:

- Valid Frontline SIA Licence
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- 5 year+ checkable work history in line with BS 7858
- Smart and presentable portraying a professional image
- Ability to write clear and concise reports
- Excellent time management skills
- A dynamic decision maker
