**WHAT TO EXPECT**
Manufacturing Business Excellence within the Manufacturing Business Office is a core pillar of the Manufacturing Function and is responsible for Jaguar Land Rover’s Integrated Production Systems (IPS).

As Senior Learning Solutions Specialist - Integrated Production Systems, you will support a multi-site, cross functional international team with the following:

- Design, development and implementation of end-to-end IPS Training - onboarding and continuous staged in role Integrated Production Systems training for everyone in manufacturing.
- Change control of IPS training.
- Management of team of 4 to assist in training roll out.

You will provide a World Class approach to people capability development, and this is a key to us in creating and sustaining profitable growth and differentiating our leading Brand.

The role will require to travel between different manufacturing locations to support learning and development activities.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR**
- Create and maintain learning solutions that support Manufacturing with regards to Integrated Production Systems to enable our people to consistently deliver Jaguar Land Rover’s strategic and tactical objectives.
- Drive change - to build a culture of continuous learning, to enable our people to achieve the highest standards in their contribution to business performance and innovation. Defining standards, structured curriculums and activities to ensure our people are fit for the future - removing duplication and driving efficiencies of scale where appropriate.
- Project manage the development of learning solutions, taking into account business need, intended scope, learning outcomes, learner profile, location, prior experience, suitable delivery formats, national awards, duration, cost constraints and assessment needs. This includes identifying key milestones and estimating timing and resources to develop.
- Maintain awareness of external development partners, their strengths and availability of existing solutions which may satisfy business requirements in part or in full.
- Create clear statements of work for items to be externally sourced and support the tender and selection process with Purchasing teams as appropriate to ensure quality and value for money.
- Support the effective piloting of major programmes to ensure readiness for volume delivery and that delivery teams have all the necessary information to execute consistently and effectively.
- Provide support to a Team of 4 B Grades who are responsible for coaching and training the Local Integrated Production Systems Teams.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time.

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**
Essential:

- Significant experience of building technical learning solutions and able to identify any additional resources and likely time required to reach a good solution.
- Knowledgeable in Learning and Development methodologies (eg competency frameworks, learning needs analysis, learning pedagogy, approaches to assessment and evaluation).
- Previous experience in a similar role with a proven track record of successful delivery with impact.
- Experience of working with external providers to deliver learning solutions, including writing clear statements of work, identifying and supporting the selection of potential delivery partners.
- Experience of working with multiple stake holders at all levels to design, build and deploy effective learning solutions which are cost effective.
- Experience of leading a team to deliver training solutions
- A working knowledge of UK academic qualification levels (2 to 7)
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience

Desirable:

- A good working knowledge of Manufacturing and Integrated Production Systems, the working environment and additional complexities of designing solutions for employees across multiple sites and following a variety of shift patterns.
- A clear awareness of the trends affecting the sector, and the impact this may have on competency development requirements in the future.
- Track record of developing solutions at different levels from novice through to expert.
- A degree or significant experience related to manufacturing and/ or people development / learning and development.
- Operational experience in a manufacturing requiring the monitoring and development of employee competency / skill.
