Insurance Claims Advisor

Trade Team Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced insurance claims advisor to start ASAP in Sittingbourne.

**Job purpose**:

- To handle insurance claims, ensuring they’re dealt with promptly and effectively.
- To provide an efficient and effective insurance claim handling service.

**About the role**
- To be one of the first points of contact to respond to queries from residents, third parties and colleagues on potential and current claims and processes.
- To Collate, investigate and prepare documentation to support insurers on concluding insurance claims.
- To maintain detailed records of all claims, claims correspondence and supporting documentation.
- To update the Motor Insurance Database, CRM, Ebuy and other any other relevant systems as required to ensure compliance.
- To liaise with insurers, solicitors and loss adjustors on claims related issues and maintain effective communication with a view to concluding claims without delays.
- To raise payments to claimants, insurers, loss adjustors and contractors as required.
- To issue certificates and other documentation (e.g. evidence of insurance) as required.

**About you**
- Experience with handling corporate insurance claims is desirable Knowledge of UK social housing is desirable but not essential
- Strong understanding of insurance policies and insurance market Experience with claims management software and is desirable but training can be provided
- Self-motivated with appetite to take on a wide range of challenges
- Able to work within established processes
