**The Role**
As a HR Assistant, you will work as part of our HR division, reporting into the Support Services Director.
This is an exciting role where you will have the opportunity to be creative, take responsibility and be trusted to deliver in a team that is proud of its work and excited about the future. As a key point of contact in the HR team, you will gain experience of the full spectrum of the employee lifecycle.
**Roles & Responsibilities**
**HR**
- Taking ownership of the new hire and onboarding process ensuring all tasks are completed and trackers kept up to date
- Conducting inductions for new hires across the business
- Maintaining our data management system, Breathe HR, to ensure reporting data is accurate
- Ensuring all leave and absence is recorded in a timely manner with relevant documentation completed and uploaded to Breathe HR
- Updating the payroll spreadsheet with starters, leavers, absence, holidays, pay adjustments etc and issuing to payroll on a weekly basis
- Raising any Purchase Order requests for invoices which are relevant to the HR department
- Creating, collating, updating and utilising spreadsheets to analyse and trend data (KPIs)
- Ensuring that all probationary review meetings are tracked and completed on time issuing any relevant paperwork as and when required
- Issuing contract amendments for promotions, pay rises and change to terms
- Maintaining a record of all Personal Development Review paperwork annually including the tracking of all requested training from PDR reviews
- Attending HR and Recruitment meetings and taking notes as and when required
- Completing all departmental filing, shredding, scanning and photocopying
- Arranging internal and external meetings using outlook calendars
- Collating, processing and submitting relevant request forms and overtime on a weekly basis
- Managing the DBS and references process for all new hires
- Creating social media content to represent the HR & Recruitment function
- Ordering & issuing PPE for new hires
- Collaborating with the IT Department to efficiently assign IT equipment to new hires
- Contributing to the positive image of the company and portraying the employer brand and values
- Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team and responding politely and in a timely fashion to internal and external customers
- Abiding by the companies, policies, procedures and regulations at all times
- Working to stringent deadlines whilst managing a high volume, challenging and varied workload, using own initiative and excellent time management skills
- Undertaking other tasks and responsibilities compatible with the level and nature of the post as required
**Recruitment**
- Supporting the full recruitment cycle for multiple roles across several business groups
- Writing clear and attractive job descriptions
- Advertising live vacancies on our ATS and relevant hiring platforms
- Liaising with recruitment agencies
- Fully utilising our ATS, ensuring all communication is tracked and logged
- Preparing managers for interview with the relevant documentation
- Effectively managing offer and rejection process, in a timely fashion
- Performing reference and background checks
- Compiling and presenting Quarterly KPI’s to the Support Services Director
