At Coinadrink, we are looking for a part-time **Health and Safety Administrator** to join our Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety department in Walsall.

We are looking for a Health and Safety Administrator to join us on a part-time basis.
**About the role**:
Reporting to the directors, you will be responsible for ongoing maintenance and development of a safety culture throughout the organisation in line with the commercial needs of the business.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Support and assist the health and safety consultant on matters of health and safety
- Monitor and prioritise incoming Health and safety and ISO standard-related actions and requests
- Monitor and chase ongoing action plans from health and safety audits, inspections, and fire risk assessments
- Assist the Health and Safety consultant in organising training and ensuring up to date information is provided for Coinadrink’s staff and visitors
- Organise and upload documents related to health and safety, and Coinadrink accreditations (currently ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018) on various management systems
- Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to keep them up to date with any relevant health and safety information, requirements, and company information
- Inspect production areas of the business on a regular basis, identifying probable risks and advising on suitable control measures
- Help standardise and streamline safety policies and procedures within the company.
- Provide assistance and cooperation concerning audits and remedial actions
- Advise the wider operations/management team on the implications of current and emerging health, safety, welfare legislation, including evaluating options, making recommendations, and generating action plans to ensure compliance across the organisation
- Assist in the setup of the new system for control of contractors and in updating and maintaining the Group approved contractor list
**Qualifications and attributes**:
- An awareness of Training, Auditing, Compliance and Health & Safety with a desire to progress within this field
- Qualifications within IOSH or general safety qualifications preferred
- A background in a Health and Safety based Admin role will be very advantageous but not essential
- Any previous experience of any of the following - ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 advantageous
- Strong IT skills - confident with Microsoft packages and able to pick up and learn new systems quickly to a good standard
