Our 12 week Summer Internships, based in Aberdeen, are a great opportunity to get a taste for working at TotalEnergies and get hands on experience within your field of interest. As a TotalEnergies Intern, you will be joining our Exploration & Production Branch to help play a part in our journey to net zero.

**THE POSITION**

The position is within the Control and Instrument team in the West of Shetland asset Maintenance department. The role offers the opportunity for an intern to gain experience in an asset support environment, for the management of the Instrument and Control Safety and Environmental Critical Elements’s (SECE), providing direction on engineering and maintenance for plant and equipment. The role will allow exposure to Functional Safety and Cyber Security compliance.

Some of the activities you will be involved in will include:

- Learn about Functional Safety management and help to embed this in the asset.
- Assist in the preparation of annual SECE reports for Emergency Shutdown, Fire & Gas, High Integrity Pressure System and Alarm Management.
- Contribute to obsolescence management for legacy automation systems.
