Offshore Instrument Preparator

PBS (Semco UK) are looking for an Offshore Instrument Preparator to join the Alwyn on a permanent basis. The Offshore Instrument preparator is responsible for the preparation of the Work Orders assigned as per the Maintenance Procedure. The Instrument preparator will ensure that short term maintenance activities are prepared as per priority given, ensure material and permit available before adding the work to the plan.

**Details/duties**:

- Liaise regularly with key stakeholders to review and update mechanical maintenance content in SAP
- Work order preparation
- Order material, track material to ensure a timely delivery is achieved
- Carry out worksite visit to ensure job readiness before adding it to the plan
- Prepare permits
- Raise notifications in UNISOL
- Review SECE backlog and identify any work order at status PROK AWSC that can be inputted into the plan
- Raise deferral when WO going beyond LAFD
- Request new SAP component number using NMR form and process
- Arrange scaffold to be erected in advance of schedule work
- Arrange lifting plan to be prepared in advance of schedule work

**Qualifications/Experience required**:

- Proven oil & gas industry experience in a similar position
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Honours or above), Professional/Chartered Engineer
- Significant experience in instrument maintenance
- Experience in maintenance static mechanical equipment
- Excellent experience in SAP
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent team working, building and maintenance effective
- Required training to go offshore
