Theatre Team Lead| Cobalt Hospital

Cobalt Hospital, located just outside Newcastle, is part of Ramsay Health Care's UK network of private hospitals. Cobalt Hospital opened in 2005.

Registered with the Care Quality Commission patients can be assured of the highest standards in surgical, nursing, hygiene and aftercare services at Cobalt.

Patients can be assured of a warm welcome at Cobalt and the modern reception area provides a calm environment, with tv and refreshment facilities, for patients to wait for their consultation or procedure.

The Outpatient Unit comprises of a suite of consulting and examination rooms, whilst the Surgical Unit incorporates 2 theatres with dedicated recovery areas.

The role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Nurse/ODP who is passionate about delivering excellent standards of care, to join our committed Theatre team at Cobalt Hospital.

You will be delivering exceptional standards of clinical care to our surgical patients. You will have the opportunity to broaden your nursing experience by managing a stimulating case mix

What you’ll bring with you:

- Current medical and/or surgical experience within a hospital environment
- Current registration with the HCPC or NMC (UK) and ongoing CDP
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant clinical standards in a surgical environment
- The ability to work in other Clinical departments as required
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Excellent customer care skill
- A good standard of computer literacy
- The ability to lead a team
- The ability to time-manage
- Flexible during periods of low activity and work extra hours where required
