Quality Inspector

Based in Trimdon, Co. Durham, DLI Engineering is looking to strengthen its Quality Department by recruiting an additional Quality Inspector. DLI is a Subcontract, high end precision engineering company whose customer base is formed out of the Oil and Gas, Aerospace, Filtration Industries, coupled with some specialist engineering projects.
- Subcontract QA Inspection
- Programming and operating CMM Machines
- Completing First Article Inspection Reports
- Completing in process and final inspections
- Preferably a time served engineer

It is important that applicants can demonstrate they can:

- Measure and report on parts to tight tolerances
- Read and interpret **engineering drawings**:

- Manage the Non-Conformance process of parts with customers and suppliers to a conclusion in a professional and organised way
- Organise and manage the calibration system
- A **background in engineering** on CNC Lathes or Milling Machines

As most of the work is bespoke and a high percentage one offs and small batch runs, this is an **interesting** and **varied position** that requires someone to have an organised and calm approach to problem solving and working with a small team of Inspectors.

We operate a range of shift patterns Monday to Friday with an opportunity of overtime as required. OTE in excess of £30K.
