**About the Department**:
The Finance and Planning department is responsible for leading on the annual finance and planning cycles including supporting staff in financial and student number forecasting and reporting; preparing returns to regulatory bodies; financial analysis to support decision-making, investment appraisal and performance benchmarking; audited statutory accounts; processing and maintenance of the School’s financial receipts and payments; compliance with internal financial controls and tax legislation; and procurement. The principal financial software is Agresso Business World (Unit4).

**About the Role**:
The post holder in conjunction with other Accounts Payable team members will operate in the Accounts Payable section, process invoices, payment requests and expense claims, deal with purchase ledger queries promptly and the Procurement Purchasing Card efficiently and in accordance with the School’s financial procedures and Financial Regulations.

The post holder will need to process faster payments, assist the Accounts Payable Supervisor to process payment runs in accordance with the agreed timeline and variations to that timeline as requested by senior finance staff and in accordance with the School’s financial procedures and Financial Regulations.

Additionally, the post holder will be expected to undertake any other work as required by the Accounts Payable Supervisor and Head of Finance Operations.
