Labour 24/7 are an employment business acting on behalf of our Hindley Green based client who are recruiting for an experienced Team Leader.

Our client is a leading paper distributor and are recruiting for a Team Leader to manage a team of machine operatives on shifts.

Hours of work are rotating shifts. Monday-Thursday 6am-2.40pm and also 2.30am-11pm.

Starting salary is £25,300.00 Working towards £27,500.00

Job Role:
Manage staff on shift including being involved in the daily tasks.

Be involved in the setting and running of the machines.

To operate the FLT’s and Clamp Trucks, Pallet Bander and Wrapper to agreed Health & Safety, Product Safety, Quality and production targets. To control the movement and planning of stock in the warehouse, feed machines and removal of waste. This involves maintaining the equipment and its surrounding environment, ensuring that it is in good, safe working order, including its environment, and working to agreed production targets\KPI's and procedures.

Ensure that safe working practices are followed at all times by:

- Ensuring all staff are completing safety inspection sheets.
- Ensuring all staff are following all Health & Safety procedures.

Ensure that housekeeping standards are met at all times by:

- Ensure staff are following waste removal and cleaning procedures.
- Keeping all tools and other necessary items in their correct locations at all times.
- It is the responsibility of the operator to ensure that all tools and items supplied are available at all times, in their correct location, and in satisfactory condition.
- Maintenance of the machine to agreed standards.
- Ensure that the quality of finished products meet expected standards.
- Loading and Un-loading of vehicles.
- Machine Loading.
- Stock control.
- Waste Removal.
- Banding & Wrapping of finished goods

Reporting all non-conformances. These relate to faults in raw materials, finished goods, machinery faults, tool faults, Health & Safety faults & procedures not being adhered to.

Ensure that all the following paperwork is completed accurately, in full and on time:

- H&S inspection sheets
- Maintenance sheets
- Non-conformance reports
- Delivery notes
- Stock reports are completed correctly and in full at all times.
- Hygiene standards to be followed at all times and any procedures relating to Hygiene and BRC must be followed at all times.

**Salary**: £25,300.00-£27,500.00 per year
