**Production Team Leader Job Purpose**:
The objective of Production Team Leader role is to lead a finishing team to produce finished goods to the agreed specifications and standards and achieve the daily planned output within the estimated labour hours.

**Production Team Leader Main Responsibilities**
- Ownership and accountability of line leadership
- Follow company procedures and processes
- Manage team in line with procedures and processes
- Achieve daily planned target outputs
- Monitor quality throughout production controlling waste levels
- Accurate record keeping of production outputs, waste, and stock within company systems
- Create a culture of Health & Safety awareness, good manufacturing practice, high quality standard, good housekeeping
- Good communication with regular briefs to team
- Building team effectiveness throughout the production, technical, quality and logistics teams
- Understand improvement techniques
- Actively involved in projects, plan, organise, arrange all that is needed to make it happen in operations
- Maintain good facilities in the department, monitor ergonomics working environments for staff
- Carry out any other duties as requested by Manager

**Production Team Leader Knowledge / Expertise**
- Leadership and managing experience in a similar role in manufacturing
- Must be able to manage/support production line workers, with the ability to coach and mentor staff
- Works well under pressure
- Team player, target driven, self-motivator
- Numerate and computer skills

**Production Team Leader Interpersonal Skills**
- Possesses the ability to lead a productive team
- Works well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
- Good problem-solving skills
- Self-disciplined, organised, and self-motivated
- Team player and be able to use your own initiative, co-coordinated, reliable, and conscientious
- Flexible
