RECRUITMENTiQ are delighted to be working with a Council based in Welshpool, and they are seeking a Contract Monitoring Officer.
**About the role**:
Working as part of the County Council’s Contract Monitoring Team, you will develop a contract monitoring process that will systematically monitor the quality and performance of contracted services commissioned by the County Council and monitor Service Contractswith service providers within Social Services to ensure that services are delivered to agreed specifications.
You will identify, document and report any areas of concern and work with service providers to agree action plans to address performance issues identified.
**About you**:
The right person will have:

- Proven experience of working in health or social care.
- Ability to communicate effectively with service users, managers, carers, professionals and other agencies.
- Capacity to manage a challenging and complex workload.
- Confidence to work alone and ‘can do’ attitude.

**What you will do**:

- Monitor a range of Service Contracts with service providers within Adult Social Care and to ensure that services are delivered to agreed specifications.
- Implement, manage, maintain and update systematic contract monitoring processes in line with current best practice.
- Arrange and undertake a schedule of monitoring activity for all contracted services including questionnaires, analysis of performance, financial information and quality audits.
- Provide a concise report on each monitored service to the provider; commissioning managers, and other identified stakeholders.

- Location: this is a flexible worker position and therefore the Council offers opportunity to work in an agile way to include home working
- £33,820 to £35,411 per annum
