Longitude, the Financial Times’ thought leadership business, is looking to recruit a skilled Content Writer, with experience of producing content across a wide range of formats and channels, to join our fast-growing team. **Role **Overview**

Reporting to our Managing Editor, you will write engaging B2B content that covers new and evolving trends in business, economics, sustainability and technology.

As part of our team, we will ask you to do the following things:

- Write clearly and persuasively for a variety of senior business audiences, including articles and longer-form pieces
- Write digital content and repurpose long-form content into targeted digital assets, such as infographics, interactive stories and animation
- Write thought leadership content for some of the world’s most influential B2B brands
- Support senior editors through all stages of thought leadership projects
- Get to grips with complex issues in business, technology and innovation
- Draw on and understand survey data, desktop research and transcripts of qualitative interviews to find new stories
- Attend client and expert briefings to understand the client’s thinking on key issues
- Manage time effectively, to meet tight deadlines
- Be organised, detail-oriented, self directed, highly energetic, and adaptable
- Show flexibility: grow, develop and progress in a creative organisation
