Brownfield Package Lead

Our Client, major O&G Operator playing a key role in the energy transition seeking Brownfield Package Lead on a contract basis in Aberdeen on Agency Worker / PAYE.

Decommissioning Package Lead role will be an opportunity to gain skills through a number of prestigious emissions reduction projects such as flare gas recovery and offshore floating wind turbine power provision. It’s a great opportunity to be involved in an innovate project with state of the art design of the industry. The Offshore Floating Wind Pilot project’s objectives are to qualify one of the highest potential semi-submersible floater design of the floating wind industry.

Key responsibilities:

- Delivery of all aspects of the brownfield modifications required to integrate the Floating Wind Pilot project and hybridize power management system
- Delivery of the Inter-Array Cable, complete with ancillaries in line with project design & functional requirements, for installation by the Floater and Mooring EPCIC
- Identify and support effective management of interfaces between Brownfield contractor, IAC Package Contractor and Company.

Key requirements:

- MSc or Masters in engineering discipline and membership of relevant Professional Body (chartered engineer or equivalent).
- Formal Project Management Qualification and relevant track record in Project Management role or Package Lead role.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Extensive offshore experience covering a brownfield modification and subsea projects.
- Familiar with industry legislation and regulations relating to the oil and gas industry, with full understanding of legislation and regulations relating to subsea activities.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills with the ability to work in an interdisciplinary and international team.
