**Role responsibilities**

We have an exciting new opportunity for a **STP **Timetable Production Specialist** to join the team on a **permanent basis**

We are looking for motivated individuals who are keen to progress with a career within Train Planning. We are looking for someone who is highly organised, adaptable with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. You must have ability to communicate and build positive relationships with multiple stakeholders internally and externally and be able to demonstrate strong IT skills. Pervious experience in a railway environment is not essential.

This role will involve working as part of a team responsible for delivering the timetable and rolling stock diagrams. You will produce robust rolling stock diagrams for each week to meet commercial specification and fleet maintenance requirements, including giving adequate notice of changes. Clear and concise communication of timetable changes.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Prepare the AMMEND timetable bids including Special Events
- Preparation of robust rolling stock diagrams for timetable amendments including Special Events
- Liaising with Network Rail to respond to timetable revision offers
- Prepare and deliver cost effective bus & taxi plans
- Liaise with Control, traincrew diagramming team, Resource Centre and fleet to ensure diagrams meet Manpower and Budget plans

Essential requirements to be considered for this role:

- Experience of achieving deadlines and maintaining excellent attention to detail
- Excellent IT literacy
- Ability to communicate and build positive relationships
- Strong problem-solving skills
