We have the following Digital/Process Improvement apprenticeship opportunities in our Customer Services and Communications Teams, which will provide you with the relevant skills and experience to build towards your future career. Working on a full-time fixedterm basis for 18 months (NVQ 3 qualification level) you will receive a competitive salary of £20,077 per annum plus fully funded NVQ training.

**The Apprentices - Digital/Process Improvement Opportunities**:
These roles will provide an invaluable insight into working in local government and are based either within our Customer Services Team in Stowmarket or our Communications Team in Ipswich.

**Digital Content Producer (1 post) - Communications (Ipswich)**:
You will work with the Communications team to create digital content promoting Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils’ work, priorities and campaigns.

This role will focus on the creation of brilliant and engaging content for our social media channels, website and internal communications. This will include taking pictures and shooting video, and working alongside the communications team to plan content.

You’ll have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge and understanding of different digital media platforms, analytics, and gain key skills required to reach different audiences.

For this role, you’ll need a genuine interest in social media and content creation, and understand what makes engaging content.

**Improvement Technician (2 posts) - Customer Services (Stowmarket)**:
Working within the Customer Services team, your role will support the councils to streamline business processes using Business Process Reengineering (BPR) methods and build greater efficiencies by removing waste and ensuring customers receive high qualityservices.

Your role will involve signposting customers to colleagues or external sources of information for help where appropriate. This may include supporting customers to do this for themselves and promoting digital inclusion.

This role will provide an invaluable insight into working in change management and customer services within Local Government.

**What we’re looking for in our ideal Apprentices - Digital/Process Improvement**:
**You will be**:

- Confident with good communication and IT skills.
- Keen and eager to learn.
- Have a strong commitment to developing your potential by combining practical work experience and study, to achieve an NVQ Level 3 qualification.
