**General duties for front of house include**:
**SHOP & OFFICE**
- Serving customers (involving helping a broad range of ages, fitting and guiding through the process)
- Operating the till and card machine
- Keeping the shop clean and tidy
- Keeping the outside shop-front tidy
- Checking clothes on hangers are in size order, tidy, look good, replenished and are priced
- Re-stocking the shop throughout the day
- Creating Displays within the shop / Changing the shop window on a weekly basis
- Checking in, quality checking, pricing and putting incoming goods in our stock books
- Stock checks to be done weekly: shoes, clothes, wallets, socks, bags etc.
- Cashing up at the beginning and end of day
- General errands e.g. buying milk, going to post office
- Filing shoe order cards in alphabetical order
- Posting to our social media pages
- Answering the phone (general enquiries and taking telephone orders)
- Opening incoming parcels and letters and processing them in a timely manner
- Attending to the website (uploading new products, changing imagery and managing stock)
- Help with ordering goods for the shop
- Understanding and keeping to our systems
- Keeping the office, toilet and kitchen areas tidy (hoovering and cleaning)
- Putting out rubbish for collection (cardboard recycling)
- Sending out leather samples to remote customers upon request
**Salary**: From £9.45 per hour
