We are a fast paced supplier to the building trade and DIY enthusiasts, based in Righead Industrial Estate, Bellshill.

We are currently looking to add an self-motivated individual to our sales team, for our busy counter sales department.

Full training will be provided however, previous experience in this environment would be advantageous.

**_Job Type: Full time permanent_**

**_Duties for this role:_**
- Serving customers
- Answering the telephone
- Booking in products
- Stocking shelves
- Keeping the showroom clean and tidy
- Regular stock taking
- Preparation of customer orders

**_Skills & Attributes:_**
- Basic understanding of Microsoft IT and Sage packages
- Excellent literacy & numerical skills
- Good timekeeping
- Must be able to work as a team and use your own initiative
- Trustworthy & reliable
- Confident customer service skills
- Organised & self-motivated
- Can listen and follow through instructions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £21,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme

COVID-19 considerations:
All customers entering the trade counter are required to wear masks, all shared surfaces are cleaned & sanitised on a regular basis

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bellshill, ML4 3LW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail Shop Assistants & Till Operators: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
